ONENESS TRUST

“Treat the earth well: it was not given to you by your parents, it was loaned to you by your children. We do not inherit the Earth from our Ancestors, we borrow it from our Children.”

– Tribe Unknown

Welcome GMOT Friends & Family

The building of our lodge is underway. We look for advice and suggestions from all members.  You will note that I have given Indian  names to the Lodge and other sites. My years at Keewaydin began a life long interest in the philosophy and culture of he American Indian. I greatly admired their reverence for nature and belief that they were simply stewards of the land - a land that belonged to all.

I hope our lodge will allow hundreds of friends and family to return to a world that has changed little in thousands of years. A land where we can see the decedents of birds and animals that flew over and walked the amongst the same forest millenniums  ago.

We hope you will visit our web site often to keep up the with  the building progress, and read member articles which will provide information to make a stay at the Gitchi Manitou Oneness Lodge a wonderful experience.

P.S. Long ago I took to heart Keewaydin’s motto “Help the other fellow.”

My dream is that by caring for each other all will enjoy their stay in our lodge. My hope is after enjoying the beauty of Jr. lake and listening to the  faint whispering of our spruce, pines and birches we will leave for home more relaxed and at peace.
